Battle of the Books

Each year counties across the country participate in the Battle of the Books. The book lists are selected to capture a wide range of interests for 4th-6th grade students. Students interested in competing will be asked to have read at least 15 books by the beginning of 2022. There is PLENTY of time for this, but it is nice to know ahead of time - so you can get reading. MUS will be able to select 5 students (by application and raffle) to participate for our school. Students selected are mixed into groups with individuals from across the county, where they battle book knowledge in diverse teams.

Past participants say it has been a wonderful experience, great opportunity to meet friends from other schools, and a way to demonstrate leadership and team building skills.
